Rose red oxide primer
Product Description
A premium quality adhesion primer for steel and other metals based on alkyd resin pigmented with red oxide and other rust inhibiting pigments. It is basically used as a primer coat/ base-coat for the substrates.
Principle Uses
It is recommended for interior and exterior metallic surfaces . It provides good adhesion, good drying and anti-rusting behaviour to the metal surfaces.

Storage
The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations.The product must be kept in a cool and well-ventilated place ,protected from heat and direct sunlight.
Surface Preparation
Should be stable , firm, dry and free from laitance,dust and loose flaking materials,loose old paints, dirt, grease, wax and any other contaminations. Prepare weld seam, cut, burnt or corroded areas according to ISO-St2.
Remove weld spatters, round off sharp edges. Remove all contaminations by means of
blast cleaning.

Paint System Advice
• 1 coat of Rose Red Oxide Primer ( RS-5356 ) can be used on the metallic or
wooden surfaces.
• Normally no filler coat is required.
• Any suitable top coat can be applied on the cleaned and primed surfaces.
Safety Precaution
• Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin.
• Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
